- Sir Roderic Lyne
Sir Roderic Lyne serves as Chair of the Board of Governors at Kingston University.
A member of the Diplomatic Service from 1970–2004, he has served as ambassador to the World Trade Organisation, the United Nations office and other international organisations, and as ambassador to the Russian Federation.
Sir Roderic Lyne has also served as Private Secretary to Prime Minister John Major, advising on foreign affairs, defence and Northern Ireland.

- Vice-Chancellor Julius Weinberg
Vice-Chancellor Julius Weinberg qualified in medicine from the University of Oxford in 1979. He has worked with the NHS as a consultant in Zimbabwe, with the World Health Organization in Bosnia during the Balkan conflict and as consultant for the UK Public Health Laboratory Service.
Julius was also scientific secretary to the Standing Medical Advisory Committee report into antimicrobial resistance, and acted as specialist adviser to two House of Lords Select Committee inquiries into Infectious Disease Services in the UK and Pandemic Influenza.
