My name is Lika (Lee-Ka). I'm in my second year of international law here at Kingston.
I am passionate about environmental protection (especially ocean conservation), international development issues and the Red Cross. I get terribly bored if I have nothing extracurricular to do during term, and love to organise events.
I have been the Model UN coordinator in the United Nations Association at Kingston University (UNAKU) for the past two years, but I've taken part in MUN since high school. There are so many benefits to taking part in it, and I want to raise awareness about it and hope it could light a fire in young hearts, so to speak.
There is really no place like a good MUN to fire up a debate. You just wait and see.

I'm an Eramus student, it's my fourth year of law and the second MUN that i'm organizing.
I think that a MUN is very important not only as an extracuricular activity but as a human experience. To be able to discover other cultures, to defend them, to understand our differences and to accept them, to be aware of what's appening in the word and to believe that we -the new generation- we may change that, this is what we call the MUN spirit and this is what is very important in a MUN.

Ironically. I have a very hippie personality. My other interests are, for example, philanthropy, sustainable development & biodiversity, photography and stand up comedy.
The main reason why I enjoy MUN conferences is the possibility to meet and debate with likeminded globally aware young people. It is nice to occasionally talk about something that really matters instead of just texting and tweeting your lunch menu or how rude someone on the bus was.
Also, I never miss an opportunity to wear a suit.

Final year International Relations with Media and Cultural Studies student.
Extremely interested in Constructivism to explain the world and human mobilization/participatory development to change it.
I participate in MUNs to get a better understanding of global issues and to learn more about the potential for international organisations to develop into something better than what they are.

As you may have guessed by the name, I am Spanish from Madrid and I have a passion for MUNs.
I have been to only a few MUNs in London but they have been incredibly rewarding and fun.
I hope to bring this experience to as many Kingstoners as possible.
